I’ve been listening to Dolly Parton for as far back as I can remember. My love for her angelic, twangy voice started out listening to 8Track tapes of Dolly and Kenny Rogers singing “Islands in the Stream” on six and a half-hour road trips to and from visiting our grands in the seventies. The film 9 to 5 pitting Dolly, Lily Tomlin, and Jane Fonda against their evil boss played by Dabney Coleman will always remain a comedy classic. Watch out for that “Skinny and Sweet” ya’ll.
